Marquez, ignoring that he is simply better. Marquez throws better, more accurate combinations. Timing is better, footwork is better, more substance behind his shots, skill, technique, very good against southpaws etc, etc.
Guerrero doesn't have enough pop to hurt Marquez so I'm guessing JMM would play the aggressive counter-puncher and get the clear win but if The Ghost tries to keep things on the outside the scoring would be very interesting.
Marquez, but it won't be easy.Guerrero has that style that Juanma seems to take a while to suss out.Although from what I saw last night JMM would feed RB right hands quite easily once he found his rythym. From the halfway point Juanma would force Guerrero's hand, therefore playing right into his own. I still don't think it would be a shut out though.Guerrero looked poor because he's not,and never will be a welter.I'm convinced the only reason he's there is because he's skint with Casey's medical bills, and he needs a Floyd fight to get in front.
Guerrero doesn't hold distance well and gets hit too much and too cleanly for a technician like Marquez. If a shot to hell Casamayor could legitimately hurt Guerrero in a ****ing exhibition, JMM T/KOs him late probably 10th or 11th round.
I've been asking for this fight for two years. I think Marquez wins, but those judging RG on the Aydin fight are foolish. He'd be a much better fighter at LW and is only fighting so high for reasons outlined by PTF. Marquez wins a close decision, against the guy who would eventually become his successor in that division.
How many uppecuts did Guerrero eat last night? Who's the master of the uppecut? Game/set/match!!!:deal
Guerrero got schooled by a Marquez leftover in Orlando Salido (who is very good himself tho). Marquez schools this fool.
Not an easy fight... Since everyone is picking JMM. I'll give the "The Ghost" my vote. Guererro by SD. @ WW
