Canelo fight is a joke, he is fighting a guy who should be 2 divisons below him.

Ward v Dawson is decent but I think Dawson has been exposed to be too slow witted in the ring and Ward is that good that I do not see anything but a Ward UD.

Martinez seems to be on the way down, and JCCjr has always been a bit better than the haters suggest. Chavez has a decent chance of winning and become a boxing super star.

Ideally Ward/Chavez win and then fight at 168.

Agreed. Dawson is horribly overrated on this board. He got beat by pascal and Johnson handled him :patsch

Ward has the toughest fight of the three matchups. Canelo has perhaps the easiest. I do like Martinez vs. Chavez Jr, but the biggest asset Jr. brings is his size. Martinez moves well enough where I think he'll outpoint Jr comfortably. Canelo vs. Lopez has no business being made.

    Good question (remove Canelo).

    I'd say Ward.

I voted Canelo just to be stupid.

Chavez is in an upswing career wise but he is still no where the level of Sergio. I hope for a competitive fight but he will be sniped from the outside all night long.

Dawson is an accomplished fighter but he is fighting in Oakland (wow Ward) and coming down in weight. Might be good for his power but Ward will test that endurance.

Just out of curiosity, is someone who moves down in weight automatically DRAINED? That seems to be how it is on ESB now.

 I think you did the Canelo fight for shits and giggles...There is no way his fight stacks up to Martinez\Jr or Ward\Dawson.

To answer the thread...Its kinda hard to pick but I would go with Ward and Dawson just on the sheer fact that both are highly skilled boxers...Ward will have his hands full with Dawson's athletic ability.

Dont get me wrong...Martinez has his hands full as well. Chavez seems to getting better with each fight and he's steamrolling some pretty damn good fighters.

That all depends on what Dawson shows up on fight night. If the motivated and focused Dawson shows up on fight night, then Ward definitely has the tougher fight of the three. Dawson is bigger, just as fast, has more power, more reach, and is a good boxer when he chooses to get up on his toes. Ward hasn't had to face all of that together in an opponent yet.

Unless Chavez Jr.'s chin is cast iron, Martinez should win by KO. With Chavez Jr.'s trouble making weight, I don't think he will be able to be be on Martinez's arse with the pressure he will need to apply to wear Martinez down. Recall the first Paul Williams fight where Martinez was sucking wind by the fourth and fifth round. If Chavez is in shape

While Ward is fighting the most complete opponent, I think Sergio is in the tougher fight to win. Canelo has yet to take a test, and that trend continues..

Sergio. His age and him fighting Chavez Jr is gonna be tough for him. Especially with that ****ing chin Jr has. It's either gonna be a long night if he decides to have a good strategy against Jr or it could end in the mid rounds for one of them if he or Jr decide to go all out.:bbb

in the poll options it should be Chavez instead of Sergio.

Sergio already proved what he can do with a bigger guy.

I think Ward will unmotivate Dawson by roughing him up. Also think Ward's defence stops him getting hit too much by Dawson. It is going to be a frustrating night for Bad Chad.

Ward is going to have the toughest fight in my opinion, or at least it looks that way on paper. Dawson chose to come down in weight, so I don't buy the drained excuse.. Hopefully he is 100% on fight night, although fighting in Oakland might not be the best idea.

Martinez just has to deal with the size of Chavez, which will not be the easiest task even though I said just.. I feel Martinez can handle the size, and effectively box his way to a decision if needed.. But I don't think it will be a walk in the park for him and eventually in the fight Chavez will get to him with the pressure and test him.

Canelo will not be tested the same way as the other two.. He should be able to handle Lopez far easier than both of them.
