Bika vs Green

Bika vs Green would be a war, but not one that's ever likely to happen.

 

have to disagree with this. Yes there is hype and promotion, but this myth about guys like Bika and katsidis being better because they have fought better is a myth. Firstly who have they beaten at a level that guys like Green and Mundine have not? Yes they have been in there with top guys and done well, but lost, but so have Green and Mundine.

The hate for Green and Mundine steams from the fact they are self promoted. Because of this they sell themselves. Create interest. And because they talk a good game when they fight keep busy, tune up or what ever you want to call it like all other fighters do (ok, Mundine has had some dodgy ones) they get rubbished. But the difference between them and guys like Bika etc is that they run their own show and dont pay a promoter 40%, if fact the promoter pays them.

I think Green would edge Bika in a close fight. Size and power.

Bad examPle Bika was rocked bad against Cordrington he was on ***** street 99 percent of fighters wouldn't beat the count. He showed tremendous heart to not only get off the floor but to get off the floor and win. I'm not saying he would beat Green but I think the risk far out ways the reward for Green. So the fight will never happen.
Ona side note people love Katsidis and Bika because they go to the champs back yard and fight. They both have tremendous heart and leave it all in the ring and in this day and age of cherry picking it must be respected. Greens
best win is against a past it Eric Lucas. Mundine's best win is Green. Everyone can judge for themselves who is the better of the four. All I know is I know which ones bank balance I'd prefer.

 

Is/has Bika ever been much of a name over there? i always assumed he was.

 

The general public don't know who he is. Better known in the states.
