This is absolutely false and was fueled by the ******ed commentating of Ian Darke. Briggs misses a punch then shoves Lewis backwards off balence. There was not a single meaningful shot landed apart from rabbit punches. But back to topic, none of Lennox's contemporaries have sh*t on him.

-Tyson never beat a single great contemporary of his era: 0 wins vs Bowe, Holyfield Lennox

-Bowe was schooled by a guy Lennox destroyed in 1 round. Either that or he was completely shot by 29. Take your pick.

-Holyfield has 10 fckin losses to 44 wins. 50% ko ratio and headbutted his way to prominence and got caught with steroids.

Again it means he was scared to fight lewis pure and simple. Foreman could have fought lewis back in 93 when foreman was 44 but foreman ignore it. Foreman was 42 when he fought holyfield.
