Do against these 2nd tier boys.

    Prime Frank Bruno.
    Prime Tommy Morrison.
    Prime David Tua.
    Prime Andrew Golota
    Prime Razer Ruddock
    Prime Ray Mercer
    Prime Michael Moorer
HEAVY WEIGHT VERSION OF ROY JONES JR
    Prime John Ruiz
Fat 90's George Foreman (the fat version)

I see him beating the HW Roy Jones via brutal KO.

That's it. He loses to Ruiz by UD. He gets stopped by everyone else.

He beats Ruiz. Loses to everyone else.

I had a good think about Bruno vs Povetkin, and concluded that Povetkin doesn't have the one-punch power needed to frighten him into becoming ragged and amateurish. I think he stands a chance against Mercer, who even in his prime was inconsistent. He'd definitely lose to a Mercer in his best form (outboxed and stopped), but he stands a chance against the average 'prime' Mercer.

depends on which Povetkin you're talking about

the one from the Byrd and Chambers fights beats Ruiz, KO's Jones, might also beat Morrison, but loses to the rest

He outworks Bruno and stops him late.
    He embarrasses Morrisson.
Povetkin counters and outworks Tua the entire fight for a close but clear decision.
    Ruddock stops him.
He outworks Mercer for a wide decision.
    He gets outclassed by RJJ.
    He embarrasses Ruiz.
He wins a wide decision against Foreman.
    Moorer stops him.

C'mon man, be objective about this. If Tommy Morrison can outwork Big George, so will Povetkin. If Damiani and Ferguson can make Mercer look average, so can Povetkin. Ruddock would stop him but I stand firm with the Bruno breakdown.

I would pick him over Golota, who never won a big fight.

Morrison is 50/50. Ruiz is 50/50

I think Povektin would Ko Jones, and out box a slow Foreman.

You never know which Mercer shows up, but I would pick Mercer at his best.

Tua can be out boxed ( would pick Tua via stoppage ), and Morrer ( would pick Morrer via decsion ) had a suspect chin.

All of these fights are winnable for Povetkin.

:lol: Prime Golota of the Bowe fight will rip out Alexandra's ****ing eye socket and kill him in the ring.

Come on rofl, that is too much. Now Povetkin can beat Prime Golota?

He loses to them all. The only fighters mentioned above that i can see him being somewhat competitive with is Ruiz & Mercer (up until he gets stopped).

I have serious questions about how Povetkin would fare against a real Heavyweight banger given his complete lack of defense as well as punch resistance. One quick glance at his record will show you that he's never even been in the ring yet with an elite level Heavyweight banger. The biggest puncher that he's ever faced to date was a B- level Cruiserweight who had him out on his feet for the better part of 12 rds, laying the pimp hand to his noggin at will.

His fatass would barely qualify as a high end Journeyman in 90's.

i find it hard to argue with any of this. i do hope this younger crop of heavys turn out to be a bit more aggressive/active/focussed than the total shite that we have had since lewis retired. (k bros excepted of course, not their fault either).

No doubt this chap would have been talked about amongst the ATG's if he had of been born in one of the many weak era's.
