it's no secret that arum doesn't want to work with GBP but it's no secret that floyd doesn't want to work with arum, that's why he tried to contact pac directly and tried to lowball him.

 

And it makes sense. Working with two of his former fighters that left him to make millions and become bigger star might have bugged him a bit.
I guess it´s mostly because he got Bradley the W and now is giving Pacquiao away. Arum doesn´t have any other fighter that could beat Pacquiao so now he is feeding him to Mayweather for a payday and then he will probably go ahead with the fourth Marquez match-up. After that we might see another Pacquiao - Top Rank guy.

 

Arum never really had a issue with Mayweather, even when the Pacquaio shenanigans was going on there were pictures of Arum and Mayweather floating on the net hugged up smiling. Arum beef is with ODH who left and threw dirt on Arum's name, then later went back and scalped his brain on how to run this promotional thing then him creating the rival promotional company and leaving once again, which is why Floyd is distancing himself ODH, the **** they tried to pull with the Canelo match, and then them threatening to have future fights on showtime, basically using Floyd as a pond in this petty ass beef between the 2 causing more enemy's, and Floyd who has praised HBO has showed he wants no parts of a war with them when he apologized to Merchant........



Don't forget Floyd tried to get King to mediate things between sides, because the 2 obvious bicker back and forth. Taking ODH ego out of the fold, makes the Manny fight that much easier to make

 

If 50 and Arum can keep Mayweather and Pacquiao out of the negotiations, this could happen. Them calling eachother and trying to make a deal themselves will fail every time.
