    maybe because he had larger income from PPV ... think how many Canadians is out there and how many from them buys PPV comparing to the British nation?

    So that was pure business, now Lewis is back to the roots, his wife is jamaican and he spend a lot of time in the country of his grandparents.

    @stinky gloves

    PPV didn't exist in the UK for a large part of Lewis' career.

    NO because Lennox IS NOT the Best British Boxer(s)...

    he IS among some greats yes, but there are plenty better.

    British NO, by choice maybe...
    Canadian by learning his trade, Yes
    but he's back home in his motherland, is he not...

    so WHO is his rightfull owner?

    his Nationality has a claim to some degree.

    Jim Cornall, Canada (originally from England): Now that I live in Canada, you are usually here referred to as: "Canadian Lennox Lewis who now lives in England." How do you feel about this? Do you consider yourself completely English now?

    Lennox Lewis: I have always been English, ever since I emigrated from England and since the kids in Canada beat me up at the age of twelve for having an East London Cockney accent. I thank them for the cockney taunts because the beatings turned me on to boxing. But on a serious note Canada has been kind to me.

    With the Olympics going on I can't help but think about when Lennox brought glory to his home country, Canada.

    Lennox is about as british as Proksa is.

    He is a true Canadian hero.
