Two words for you ....AUDLEY HARRISON You rave about him constantly, he will not go on to do great things.
:rofl Although I agree totally, not impressed with Joshua and the Cuban was cheated, that had to be one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever seen. 'In supporting your home athlete/fighter, you are discriminating against others' :rofl:rofl
****ing hell, people hoping he gets beat his next fight because of something that's out of his control? Bunch of ****s.
anyone got a video of it to put up,can't find it anywhere. i will reserve judgement,a lot of you are talking like twats,PK included. get a ****ing life,he is british, lets get behind him, most of the stuff ive read on Internet said it was close, and thats off people who know there stuff, not a few muppets of esb,do my ****ing head in some of you wankers
I will get behind him, but it was NOT close. The first round was, but the other two were not close to being close.
Antony Joshua lost that fight clearly last night. He was comprehensively out boxed. I hope the lad goes on to do well but that was a joke.
Disgusted by the decision, clearly we are going to benefit from Home advantage. This needs to changed, judges put in sound proof booths round the ring covered on 3 sides so thy can only see the ring.
1st round close for Savon. 2nd clearly Savon. 3rd close for Savon. Clear win for Savon imo. The fact that we regularly see worse decisions is pretty depressing and there's a danger that we become used to them and rather too accepting. A lot of the blame however has to be put on the ridiculous scoring system and it needs to be scrapped. As for all those saying that they Hope Joshua gets beat because of this dodgy decision, calm down ladies.
It happens every time and its usually a lot worse, if this is the only dodgy decision we get we will have been probably the best host of all time for an amateur tournament
I hope that one of our fighters who genuinely wins doesnt get screwed over by officials trying to 'balance' out the Joshua decision
Personally i'm glad Joshua won. I'm behind the kid 100%. That said the decision was bad. Savon boxes exceptionally well for a big man with beautiful movement for a guy so tall. Joshua though has a lot of flaws. His footwork is terrible. Very static. And likewise he hardly moves his head. Boxes behind somewhat of a low guard without a rapier jab that he should pumping out in 2's and 3's followed up by his big right hand. Alas he has been boxing for only 4 years so it stands to reason he has a low boxing IQ as he's learning on the job. On that display i can't see him reaching the finals.
