In the end, it will be Salita.

And that won't be a layup for Paulie.

Wait, I thought Hatton was the one who was eyeing Malinaggi for his return match. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thought i read it somewhere. Hatton wouldn't be losing weight and getting back into shape unless he already had a prettty good idea of a fighter (or fighters) he wanted to match up with, i'm guessing.

It would be a big payday and a chance to avenge an earlier loss. I can see why he would want it, but this is an idea that should be kept in house and negotiated quietly.

Can't blame him, dude has been around forever and taken some serious beatings and shown his warrior mettle....He wants a good payday as champ and a chance for redemption (in his eyes only though since everyone else will chalk it down to hatton being shot). There's obviously better fights out there for him but he's beyond long in the tooth at this point and he's trying to bank some scrilla while he has a belt for leverage, I get it and I ain't mad at Paulie for chasing that paper while he can seeing as that belt is gone along with his leverage when he faces a B+ or above level WW. Paulie vs Devon for unification would be great after Devon whups Bailey.

Brook-Malignaggi would be a big fight if their respective teams are willing to make it happen...

Would someone please tell me why Hatton is fighting again? Please don't tell me he's broke...he made a TON of money.

Whats with all the hate for Paulie on here? Very unwarranted in my opinion.

I think its a good move for the both of them honestly. Paulie wants revenge and it'll be a huge payday and a great atmosphere. Hatton wants to see if he still has it and misses the sport, who better to fight than a champion who you already beat?

    Good deal for both.
