Great Fighters Who Would Have Thrived At SMW

Ray Robinson proved he could handle lt-hwt to a certain extent so I have no doubt he could have handled 168, he had the height & could have filled in to it although his prime would be below this weight he would probably have dominated.

GGG could have met Ward at this weight and didn’t want any.

 

I never understood why. Afraid I guess.

 

To me, that was his chance to prove that he was great and he declined.

 

Both kinda did. Neither pushed it. Both scared.

Ward faced Kovalev at 175 when he was this supposed monster. I don’t believe he was afraid to face GGG at 168. I’m not going to derail this thread anymore.
