Yeah pressure fighter vs counter puncher are always good to watch

Technical fighters v those relying on being unusual or unorthodox. Think Naseem v Barrera. Clinton Woods V RJJ.

flashy guys with no power vs 1 hitter KO artists are always interesting

My favorite is the pressure fighter vs. a counter puncher. Oddly enough, I root for each style about half of the time.

I also love two straight ahead fighters in a battle of wills.

Basically, as long as at least one of the fighters is willing to engage, it's a good matchup. Putting two counter punchers in the ring is horrible matchmaking.

Agreed - Hence why Mayweather vs. Pacquiao (in 2009) would have been a great match.

Also why Haye vs. Wladimir was so **** (more technical, than **** I would say).

I think the important thing is the contrast

This isn't so much styles, but more attributes than anything else. So Speed vs. Power, for instance.

But even in terms of 'styles' - It's still all about the contrast. Infighter vs. Outfighter.

I think the only time when two similar styles make good fights, is with two brawlers, sluggers, swarmers, or in-fighters.

Other than that, it's all in the contrast!
