Guys we're thinking too small here. Long term we need a plan, the only way we as fans can hope to fix this atrocity and keep boxing in the olympics is going to be difficult. Either we need to get the IOC to knock the AIBA out of the game and give the spot to someone else like the WBC/WBA/IBF etc. to handle the logistics or some rival amateur federation or we need to bankrupt the AIBA. Run the WSB into the ground by not watching it, getting sponsors to pull their advertising from it, essentially anything the AIBA gets a dollar from tell them don't give it or else we won't buy their products, watch their station, etc.

i feel so many of the fights are decided in round 1

Boxer A jumps out to big lead

Boxer B fights his way back in on even terms in round 2 and 3 but still loses on points

i mean seriously how can one solid round of point scoring out do 2 or 3 nip tuck rounds

there should be a 2 point benifit on KDs or 8 counts

hell if i remember correct doesnt the ref give out foul warnings which judges can decide to or not to award points for fouls

 

They should get rid of Dr Woo ( AIBA President ) , ever since that Chinese guy took over things have gone from bad to worse , his life dream was to bring a more balanced AIBA rankings ( by countries ) so there will be other countries in the mix , not just the traditional powerhouses ( Cuba , USA , Russia ) fighting for medals , he accomplished his dream , now you can see China ( his country ) , Kazahastan , Korea , Japan and Mongolia in the mix for medals at any tournament . They didn't do this in the traditional manner ( training , money for a boxing program , etc ) , they did this by handing gift decisions to certain boxers of those nations ( the talented ones ) and by hype ( rank system or " seed " like the pro's ) , he wanted this boxing " balance " between nations to be inmediatly not on the long run hence the robberies , when the fuss threatens to turn into a scandal he calls a press conf and says that such and such ref has been suspended , that they're doing everything possible to stamp out corruption , etc , bla bla bla , he behaves like a pro promoter ( a very corrupt one ) , he's the Chinese version of Bob Arum We boxing fans instead of bashing AIBA all the time should demand his resignation asap , once he and his ganster team are gone everything will be alright .
