I understand your point of view but I have seen alot of Dawson's fights and I believe his foot work is better then "decent", but I do agree with you 100% Wards foot work is better.

    Good post brother.

Do you disagree with anything else in my attribute list?

    You're pretty much spot on.

I'd say timing is more important than actual speed as their speed is just about equal. And Ward has near flawless timing.

Ward is your worst nightmare in the ring. I cant think of anybody who gave hell to ward. Bika maybe, but not that much. And i see Superman Stevenson being more of a problem to ward than Tony Driell

This should be one hell of a fight!

Only with Dawson, he's been a little frustrating at times over the years because he will show up one fight and look EXCELLENT (I do mean bad ass too) then he'll go and show up seeming very average another time.

Will have to see how it goes.

    Really.....Stevenson will walk right into Ward's 1-2 and take a 10 count.

T Dirrel has the speed, power, ans chin to give Ward all he can handle, and his punch variation on the inside is as good as it gets.

My only worry for Tony is that his LOC has suffered due to his cancer taking time away, and now his wreck.

I also think Bute would beat Ward, but we'll see in March if he's not lost it completely.:think

On what basis do you think this about Dirrel and Bute?

Ward hasn't been pressed hard enough yet. He has a few more gears to him that have yet to be shown.

Id like to see Bute against Ward but i dont see Butey taking a clear cut victory. I see him folding mentally and physically in the late rounds.

dawson is a big 175 fighter, meaning he will be a drained 168 fighter.

I'm saying it now, this fight will be a stinker. You have a guy with no heart and lack of motivation vs a guy who will do anything to win, including questionable tactics. Ward will rush in head first and hold and lean on Dawson all night sqeezing in uppercuts between their chests. Dawson will simply stand there and let him. It will be a stinker.

if he really can make the weight and still remain healthy its going to be a fight, but Ward finds ways to make an even fight an easy fight. if he can manage to get inside and frustrate Dawson as he did with Kessler it will be an easy fight.

But if Dawson does not allow that and sits behind his jab and uses that left uppercut as he did with Hopkins this is going to be a nail bitter for sure

I honestly think this is a 50/50 fight. It's going to be very technical and methodical. They are equally skilled/athletic IMO and I think the guy with the best game plan will win.
