Gamboa is giving up a lot of size to Broner.

Broner, because he is just as powerful, slightly slower, just as sound technically.

Broner would surely have his moments, but I think he's too green to deal with someone who's as athletic and skilled as Gamboa. Adrien isn't bad offensively, but he's clearly most comfortable as a counter-puncher, and Gamboa could trick him into leading and falling into traps. The disparity in footspeed is a big factor, and I think Gamboa could get his shots off and change the angle before Broner lands anything too significant. If Gamboa is disciplined, he can win a convincing decision and maybe even a late stoppage. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see Broner catch and drop him with a counter left or something similar.

Gamboa has an iffy chin and is short with a limited reach. I think his hand speed would give Broner some problems as Broner has always been the faster handed fighter. If Gamboa can't get to Broner early, he loses. Broner can bang and he's tough to hit cleanly. I'd go with Broner by stoppage probably around the 9th round. Too big, too fast and strong. I'm not real big on Gamboa like most people, he's exciting because he's fast and hits hard, but he's vulnerable and has been dropped several times. Also he's 30 already and has been inactive for a long period of time.
