The pros can't be a part of any boxing organisation apart from APB so you're not going to see any pros that you know competing.

Central to the APB programme will be an individual ranking competition consisting of three different levels with world, continental and national Rankings. Boxers will be ranked only based on their performance and will have the opportunity to climb all the way from national level to the top of the World through a clear and transparent competition.
Further down the line, APB will launch a global event where each national federation will be able to send APB boxers to represent their countries in a worldwide competition.

 

Katdisis fought for free on a mundine undercard. It actually cost him money as he had to pay his opponents purse.

Olympic boxing medals are very hard to win and I thought it was our time to get one through Hooper. Hard to see us winning an Olympic boxing medal any time soon.

Yep , Team GB got two Welsh lads Evans & Selby both going tonight that are in the same boat as Jeff ( if they win then they have at least a Bronze ) . Good luck to all three . :good

 

Watched Jeff Horn vs the Canadian the other day. Was a great fight, he was cruizing through the fight, jumped to a 5 point lead in the first round.

Looks very good IMO, but he better not sit and trade with the Ukrainian. He will pommel the **** out of him.

 

Horn lost...great job getting to the quarters though.

I'd love to tell you how he went and how the fight panned out but the ****ers didn't show it live. :twisted::twisted::twisted:

I'm watching fights from earlier in the session that I already know the result for...looks like Jeff will on be in inside half an hour but I can't believe they didn't show it live, when they were already showing boxing anyway.

 

Horn lost 21-13, he was unable to maintain the pace after starting well as his slippery footwork troubled the world No.2. Berinchyk's strength was hurting Horn in the second round, which he lost 4-7, the Australian facing a five-point deficit heading into the last round. Horn gathered strength to go toe-to-toe with his opponent, but was unable to make up the gap in the third.
