Pac is still prime so he has a good couple years left in him. After about 2 years he will start his slow decline, so he will still have a year or two performing at the top level. He has never beaten Marquez so that fight dosnt show a decline, if anything it shows him at the level he was at 2008. He also looked good against Bradley, if you ignore the robbery. He would have broken his hands before he could have knocked out Margo, so no decline there as he put on a good performance.
2013 for sure. IMO he is showing clear signs of age (has to be expected though) Lower punch output Less devastating power More signs of Fatigue in the later rounds. I can see him having 3 more fights, and then hangning them up. Rightly so though. He has been through some serious wars.
I agree 100%. In my opinion his best fights are behind him. The Bradley fight clearly showed signs of his decline. Bradley is a good fighter but he's no Marquez or Morales.
2014 if the tales about him being bad with his finances are true. Theere won't be no smooth sailing where he can retire because he wants to
End of 2013 - 3 more fights, one in the fall and then the plan is 2 megafights with Floyd in 2013 then him and Arum can cash out before they part ways.
He's probably going to end up like DLH, fighting for money. He can generate big PPV even if he loses so why not continue to fight longer. Its sad that a fighter like amir khan is almost as rich as manny look it up. Thanks bob arum.. and pacquiaos losing money to.
He's no where near prime. How can any ignore the signs of decline? He's still got 2-3 left at the elite level and that's it.
