Sorry Cloudz.Just unusual to see someone with such a good chin(you) associated with Bute. You're giving him a lesson on how to take it on the chin and stay standing. Doing yourself proud mate.
Stieglitz's prime isn't worth **** dude. The man can't bang, he isn't in the same league as Froch, Ward & Dirrell. AA won't fear him, he'll let his hands go hopefully. Plus he isn't as big as the other 3 fighters I mentioned, a very winnable fight if you ask me. :deal
No offense brothe' but King Arthur Abrahamer was getting outboxed by an unknown midget "called" Pokemon, so he might not be the same boxer once was.
It's been a long time that I'm no longer offended by what people say about AA Can't say it's not his own fault either. :hat He definitely isn't what he used to be and yeah he may have lost rounds against Pikachu but at least he did a little bit better against the pole. He was more active too. I personally do believe he'll win against Stieg but I won't bet my house either. Actually I woulen't have been depressed if he retired after the Ward fight but since he's still around I support the ****er. :hat
Also that unknown midget was ranked n°1 by the IBF so he could have been Bute's mandatory if things went differently. :hat
Hey Guys, So the night went well and I got to see some of Montreal's finest boxers once again! Bute is in VERY good spirits! I did not get to talk to him as much about boxing as I wanted to but most of the things we spoke about were his tactics for the re-match and why HE and his team chose Grachev (I can't really speak on this as it's to specific). He mentioned that the loss was completely his fault and not the teams as he didn't follow proper instructions and he didn't utilize his defence properly. He said Froch was a "robot" that night and months build-up for the fight, all training material never showed Froch in that state of mind or fighting capability. He said he "rose to a new level" in regards to that loss and he is mentally and physically prepared for any challenge at this point in his life. I'll try to post a pic or two with the program Tyler-Durden linked me on...
Tobias, Bute has done absolutely nothing in order to earn his ranking at top 3. The thought that people had ranked him higher than Froch & Kessler and even Ward is absurd. Go to the Cobra express i posted two videos up and this yank completely agree with me, if you want to become to best you have to fight the best simple as that and lets be real Bute hasn't fought the best and i'm not blaming him because of the Super Six, but then you as his fans have to accept that reality is that Bute is skilled (Of course not as much as we thought) But his resume is very limited, when Bute beat Johnson in a shout out where Froch in the beginning rounds struggled with him, i gave Bute credit and finally he stepped up and he did what he had to do in order to fight the winner of the Super Six. But Ward ducked him and turned into Froch who completely annihilated and Bute got a reality check, and in fact the first time Bute struggled against a opponent he completely felt apart in the 12th round in the first fight vs Andrade. Froch was also close to feel apart vs Taylor but showed mental toughness and turned it around. Mikkel Kessler has faced: Prime Andrade, Joe Calzaghe Andre Ward & Carl Froch Andre Ward has faced: Mikkel Kessler, AA & Froch Carl Froch has faced: Pascal, Kessler, AA, Johnson & Ward So honestly before the Froch fight, you should've asked yourself who did Bute beat in order to make us believe that he would beat Froch in Notthingham?
Nice :thumbsup What does he mean by robot ? Did he underrated Froch and didn't take him seriously ? I thought Bute had a tremendous camp for this fight. Even the tapes with Rachel's voice were there. Damn I missed Ward-Froch II :-( :yep
It's OK man and thanks for the kind words .. But you know what? If there's one thing that I noticed about Bute in his defeat, is that is chin is at least decent. I mean, his boxing ability is probably worse than I thought, same for his ring IQ and probably other stuff, but the way he took the monster shots on the jaw, on the temples, on the ears, from Froch over and over again for 5 rounds tells me his worst problem isn't his chin.
It's all good but why do you act as if you have never been wrong in predicting the result of a fight? And how would you explain many non-bute fan (including long time experts) picked him to win? It's not "you're **** you got the wrong guy". It's boxing FFS. (I decided I would never brag again after the Pavlik-Hopkins fight (were I was horribly wrong)) Name a fight were you were way off (I'm sure there is plenty)... I'm sure many of us would find your pick ridiculous and ******ed (after the fact)
