James Toney wants to fight Tyson Fury

Fury should make this fight happen.. I'd love to see the build up

 

Based on his last two performances James Toney gets utterly destroyed by Fury

 

I have no interest in seeing James Toney fight anymore. His license should be taken away to save him from himself.

 

imagine the cheesy build up to this. I remember the maddalone promo, they made out he was a beast!! They would market James Toney as the PFP Number 1 to the casuals.

 

Unfortunately I could see it happening too.

 

Luxembourg license considering Toney's over 40?

 

No he doesn't have ANYTHING to get inside with. Have you seen how slow his feet and reflexes are?
He'd get battered by someone he'd have toyed with years ago.
Toney is worse than Holyfield now both in being totally shot, and delusion!

 

Toney is shot to ****, he was so bad against Lebedev it's unreal.

Holyfield and Toney would both be step ups from vinny maddalone thats for sure.

 

Spoken like a true fight fan (and not fighter).

I'll give you a clue why not, if you keep your 0 you become a far more marketable proposition and more likely to position yourself for pay check fights, and more marketable once signed up for them. This probably seems small to you as a fan looking for 'meaningful contests' and all that stuff.... But it's likely quite important for fighters who have a short career getting punched in the face, and good managers who want to make some cash themselves, protect their fighter and secure their fighters finances are obviously going to try to build the most marketable situation for their guy.

 

Fury V's Toney would be bad for the sport.

 

It's depressing to think that we have to see if Tyson Fury will give James Toney a shot. That's arse backwards.
