Agreed. And if he does get in, it'll be largely on sentimental value I think. And I love the guy.

Rocky got in because he brought legions of fans to the sport. Doing that will get you in. Johnson didn't bring legions of fans to the sport.

    I'd vote no.

That hurts me so much to say

    No.

He's one of my favourite fighters of the 2000s, but the HOF is a step too far for Glen I think. Will always be remembered fondly though.

He will. HOF is not hard to get in. If you are a champion for several times or take part in some big fights you are in.

I think he has a far better case than McGuigan, Johansson, or Norton. I know this shouldn't be about the lowest common denomenator, but by that standard Johnson still has to get in.

Several of his loses draws (Judah I, Woods I, Dawson I, Gonzalez, , Kiwanuka) were flagrant robberies. If you change those results to wins as they should be, its obvious that he's hall of fame.

The last 2 fighters on your list should have been wins outright robberies that they were. Cloud was a close fight, were either fighter could have gotten the decision and I wouldn't have complained. Also has several other decisions that went against him that shouldn't have, both of his draws were bull**** as he beat both Judah and Woods decisively.

If you were too change at least half of those bad decisions the way they should have been scored, his record looks a whole lot different. Besides there are numerous 20 loss fighters in the Hall, it's all about resumes not padded win numbers *cough* JCC *cough.* Johnson consistently fought the best, even when he really did lose it was always a fight, and was railroaded with crap decisions more then any other fighter in the last 2 decades. Yet he remained a gentleman and a class-act throughout, he belongs.

Totally agree, I had Glen win vs Tavoris Cloud by one point I think.

It hurts to say No, but I have really high standards for the HOF. He is in the Hall of Very Good, though.

What sucks is that a guy who never risked it the way Glenn did will probably get in while a consumate, take all comers professional like Johnson gets left out.
