He talks shite, but everyone let's him away with it because they know he's old and a bit senile and its kinda funny, his observations are not taken seriously..

Must be difficult for Richie though. Remember he knows these guys REALLY well and coached them for a few years now. From what i've been able to catch (not much) i think he's done a fairly good job of trying to stay neutral. Granted i haven't seen the Stalker fight.

Yeah fair enough but during the fight they were very biased, even Amir Khan thought Stalker lost..

it was a close fight, but no robbery. stalker could have just nicked it, you have to feel for him so close to getting a medal. Ididnt like the way he just left the ring, not very sportsmanlike. Also the commentary was so biased that it made out that stalker was a street ahead, i think thats the problem when the co-comms is involved or knows the boxer he's talking about, afraid to say anything negative about them.

The Mongolian was very busy but he was wild and inaccurate. A lot of his stuff was on the gloves.

I personally thought stalker won. Especially the final round he should have won that by at least one pt resulting in a draw.

Not a robbery. Imo it was closer than clayton-evans. Thought stalker won but could have gone either way

It was a close fight, but he lost his first fight. If there is one country who should not scream about being robbed it is GB. Seriously how many "close" fights have gone their way. Ogogo lost twice. Stalker should not have been through. AJ got a gift against Savon. They should just be more than happy with the judging so far.

Stalker is the better boxer but his defence let him down...he'd catch the Mongolian with 5/6 ok'ish mostly connected shots but get caught flush at the same time.

Pro scoring I thought he won easily, but amateur scoring he lost fOr me, got caught flush too easy and didn't quite land cleanly enough to win.

Just seems as if they had to make sure one of the prospects went out before the medal stages, seeing as though the two Anthony's have been given gifts.

Probably just a coincidence, but the two Anthony's have also been the two who have been most pushed by the media in the lead up to the games.

I think this ^^^ is what David Price is hinting at on twitter.

    David Price ‏@DavidPrice_1

Arl *******s get a brass and a sausage dinner given to them and then proceed to ruin years of hard work and the futures of honest men

    David Price ‏@DavidPrice_1

2 GB boxers names are on gold medals. No matter what happens. Mark my words. We'll see who they are. Good luck to them. It's how it works.

To be honest, I thought it was close and could have went either way. We were always going to get a close decision against us and that proved to be the case last night.

But am not going to sit here and cry about it like the yanks do.

Agreed. But I think Ogogo beat Hartel quite clearly.
