Mayweather vs Pacquiao will they fight?

A lot depends on how Pacquiao dose in his next fight. It looks like he will likely fight either Bradley, Marquez or Cotto. In his last two bouts he's looked mortal losing to Bradley and getting by against Marquez. He needs to not only win his next bout, but do it in a convincing way. If he dose not he will lose his place as the Anti-Mayweather, and be replaced by either the winner of Martinez/Chavez or Alvarez/Lopez.

 

Manny is not slowing down as much as people think.Just his opponents are not making the same mistake as Hatton Cotto or Oscar by trying to walk him down.No doubt he has slipped a bit but fighters know how to fight him now

When Manny has his last fight. They don't want to put him in with a fighter like Mayweather who would beat him easy and drop his stock. If it's his very last fight then Arum would have nothing to lose.

I couldn't agree with your assesment on the issue more, people fear what they don't understand and hate the hell out of what they can't conquere or in this case with Floyd Mayweather Jr's shoulder roll what can't be conquered and that's the case with Manny Pacquiao's fans when it comes to Mayweather. Pathetic indeed.

 

If Mayweather wasn't such a **** the fight would have happened already. I'm picking Mayweather by decision but still place the majority of the blame on him for this fight not already taking place.

I stopped caring about this fight

the debate has ruined being a fan for many and has ruined most boxing boards and discussions

it also hurts boxing for the rest of the sports world

i simply dont care if it happens and am skeptical if it will

My opinion is that it will happen,,,,too much ****ing money on the line, some one will eventually take short money to make the fight

or a deal will be struck

i think Floyd wins as i always have but now i think its guaranteed, Manny really is on the slide and Floyds a fighter who will make you pay

anyway both are ATG's maybe not top 20 for either but good enough to be in the discussion

neither needs the other so much as both could retire great but i think it will happen just over due like many boxing rivalry fights

that said i think it hurts Floyd more than Manny if the fight doesnt come off
