At his weight there are alot of great fighters.
Aussie John Wayne Parr, Buakuw, Andy Souwer, Yod, etc.

Id have JWP probably at #1 p4p in Oz as there is alot more comp at his weight and he ahs been around longer, but Corbett is a machine though.

I dont think you can pass Corbet, he is a two weight world champ, and also a good shootboxer.

Yeah i thought he had only fought shoot box a few times, i know Parr has too.

But imo Corbett is one of Australia's best, id say #2 behind PArr.
But Corbett just destroys every opponent in front of him.
But his division is just not as stacked as Parr's but both are great at what they do.

mike zambidis goes from athens winter 0degrees to 35 degrees in melbourne with 2 days to climatise ,very silly management decision. i was ringside and mike clealy won the fight.dawson was banking on the knees to win this fight, unfortunately mike rocked him on numerous occasions with crisp clean power shots to head and body, dawson could not mix it up in the boxing department. this fight was under a1 rules, hedghog the ref continued to let dawson grapple and knee strike despite the rules.dawsons knees were not realy landing clean, bar a few which did, first round was mikes or an even round at best,2nd dawson clinched it ,slightly busier,3 4 5 was crisp vintage mike.

dawson was fresher i believe ,as mike appeared to be breathing heavy early, due to getting to australia far to late, but still did enough to win the fight . dawson was one punch away from being knocked out ,but mike just didnt have the gas, dawson didnt want to go there and mix it up with mike punch for punch, content on grapple and knee, need to do more than that to beat mike.:happy

dawson was never going down he controlled the fight mark de mori has hit dawson with everything and not put dawson down zambidis was dropped 3 times which were not counted he was never hit in the nuts explain when you bend someone over how u can knee them in the nuts why was the knockdown at the end of the 3rd not counted? zambidis is one of my faveroute fighters i beleive he lost. the only reason dawson was able to grapple even if the rules did not allow it they were not inforced the ref's fault not his. why did zambidis think he had lost he was about to tell solak he thought he lost before solak told him to stop talking
