1973 George foreman vs Prime Lenox lewis 15 rounds.

I see George knocking this man out in 4 to 5 rounds.

Lennox Lewis will embarrass Prime George.

I love George Foreman and I have no bias when I'm talking about this subject, but a Prime Lewis would dance circles around 70's George and TKO him.

Lewis was bigger, stronger, smarter, faster,meaner,tougher,more powerful, more slick, more aggressive when needed be, more boxing skills, better jab, bigger heart, faster combinations during his youth, amazing boxing IQ, and know how to control the ring.

1973 Foreman had gone past 8 rounds only once in his previous 12 fights, he was winning everything by KO (but no shame in beating names like Fraizer and Norton in the first few rounds though), I watched a documentary about the Rumble in the Jungle, there was mention that going into the fight Foreman's conditioning wasn't all too good, and all, and all, and someone mentioned that it might have been due to the fact that Foreman hadn't fought many rounds in his previous fights

Foreman had the same raw power as Rahman, and would certainly stand a big chance of KO'ing Lewis if he connected(bigger chance than McCall and Rahman had), trouble is he rarely threw straight punches, most of them were swinging hooks, and I think Prime Lewis would be smart enough to stay out of harms way, he's bigger than Foreman and would outjab him throughout the fight and wait for Foreman to gasout and then finish him in the later rounds

 

I like Foreman early on, however if it goes past 6, I'm taking Lewis by late stoppage.

 

Foreman will come out steaming, of course. If Lewis chooses to meet him, expect a war where Foreman comes out on top. If Lewis chooses to box, which is the only sane choice, he has to fight a perfect fight. His chin isn't as bad as haters make out, but Foreman can put his ass to sleep nonetheless. Overall pick: Foreman.

 

Foreman has no chance against Lewis. Lewis wins by KO, he's the far better boxer and bigger man. Foreman's technique is terrible and he's at a disadvantage against Lewis in every department.

 

Lewis is a lot bigger and taller than 1973 Jorge Foreman.

Foreman never showed much of a skillset. He did ridiculously well just from being a big big guy with huge power.

Against Lennox he would be fighting a guy that is a much better boxer, faster, bigger and possibly just as powerful.

Foremans power means he has a punchers chance against anybody but that's the only chance i give him in this one. Too crude, too slow and would be losing one of his bigest advantages in this fight which was his size.

 

Lewis would box his ****ing ears off and probably stop him mid rounds.

If Foreman lands though Lewis would go down and out.

 

It pretty much depends on whether Lewis chooses to stand and fight or is happy to shy away from a brawl and simply box.

If Lewis is willing to fight, such as against Vitali or Briggs, he gets knocked out. Foreman wasn't the biggest heavyweight of all-time but he is, by far, the strongest and would bully any heavyweight in history. Even though Lewis would be bigger, he wouldn't be the stronger man and Foreman would walk him down and bully him. Foreman had a great chin and would be able to take whatever a retreating Lewis could land. The key for me though, is body shots. These would wear Lewis down early and by the mid rounds, Lewis would be getting hit with flush punches to the chin.

However, if Lewis decides to move a lot, hold and use other spoiling tactics, there's a good chance he just frustrated Foreman all night and escapes with a UD win. Foreman was very wide and Lewis would be able to see a lot of those shots, and if he stayed behind his jab, he would likely stay out of trouble. Foreman was exceptional at closing the ring down though and he'd still pose problems for Lewis.
