I just can't put my finger on it anymore, Brook beat Middle Level contenders like Jennings, Jackiewicz and won, Looking faster and often outclassing these limited, but decent opponents, then he steps up a little to boringly UD Ricky's low skilled brother by UD which IMO was no statement, then since he wanted to move at a solid pace, He took another good step up against top 15 contender Carson Jones and won a MD that I thought was clearly a draw since he VERY boringly outboxed him since Carson was taking it easy in the first half, then the moment Jones showed the will to win by pressuring him, Brook was getting smacked around, Beaten up for 6rds. And Jones isn't no ATG. He's decent, processes some power, but NOT on the level everyone puts Brook at, That was a horrible showing by Brook, I have no clue with an extensive interest is put in him by anybody other then British fans, He is a decent contender at best in the end. He isn't tough enough to take guys like Berto, Zaveck, Malignaggi ( Well, He'd outslick him ) Lopez or even Ortiz, Bailey maybe. Simple as that, explain other then his respectable speed/Reflexes, decent power makes him deserve the hype he gets at world level??

Nobody knows guys like Leonard Bundu, Who has IMO just as good/if not better all around talent then Brook. It's a shame that Brook gets so many freebies just because of the way he is. I can't see the strong talent that will make him hit the top, I can't.

most British fighters (not all!) are susceptible to over-hype

Let's be fair...Kell Brook has won 4 IBF eliminators in the last year.

Only the final, final, cross-my-heart, last-but-not-least, definitely, definitely, final, final, eliminator to go.

Sounds like the WBC eliminators for Jr.'s belt.

I seriously wish some billionaire who loves boxing would just buy a few of the alphabet organizations, combine them into one entity that he would control, and give us a respectable sport.

A terrible post which betrays your lack of knowledge & appreciation of the sweet science. You can barely form a sentence (the underlined section actually made me cringe while reading it) let alone critique a fighter you clearly no nothing about.

The bolded section, what are you trying to say? It makes no sense whatsoever

Kell Brook is a good all round boxer, he is in the contender/titlist bracket as at 147 alot of titles will start to switch hands quickly (if they fight each other)

Nah, pretty harsh OP, Brook is looking great in his performances, not impressive opponents, but no blame him for this...in the modern boxing would be unfair.
He is improving also, which makes him even more interesting...

brook smakes paulie all over the ring,

worse then what hatton did to him (LOL hatton with mayweather sr boxed his ears off)

Khan whipped the floor with him.

Brook beats some of them overhyped americans, id bet on it.

What's wrong with a bit of hype? Kell is a good prospect.

People like guys with flashy styles and unortodoz approaches, basically heavy handed guys with speed to become 1 punch kayo artists these days.
