I hear you but it is womens boxing and its never gonna be a top sport.

I dont know what Lila made but was an undercard fighter on some **** shows at best.

No moment can top this moment for Katie.

I don't like comparing athletes from different sports, so i couldnt definitively place her at the top of the pile. There are a lot of positives for her and negatives against her.

She is definitely up there as one of our greatest ever though.

The way Nevin fights he's always in with a shout. Dont think Conlon or Barnes will have much luck though.

I hear ya. but nevin may have to change tactics and box a bit different than he likes by coming forward a more, i dont think he'll outbox Alvarez on the back foot

shes our best boxer and probably our best soccer player. Accorcing to Brian Kerr she was the best soccer player in his days. I'd say that means she is an all round athlete and the best in my opinion.

Put it this way if she dedicated herself to another olympic sport wouldn't surpise me if she got a medal in another code.

Looking back at that fight I thought Taylor won the first 2 rounds. How the she lost the 2nd round is beyond me. But I realise I may have missed something? Correct me If I am wrong but I thought Katie landed a 3 punch combo clean in the Sofiyas face. I think that Ocigava is very skillful but a one trick pony that couldn't adapt. I would say Jonas could do a number on her in 2016 and that would be a carcking fight. Will Katie go pro? I hope not. Just prefer to see her move on now.

Being interviewd on RTE just now and she said she wont be retiring for another 10 -15 years and will decide in the next few weeks will she stay am or go pro !

And I think Nevin will win Gold he is the best male boxer at these games imo and has the beaten of the Cuban imo, Barnes and Conlon have a good shot aswel !

Katie Taylor imo is Ireland's greatest ever sportsperson. If she does turn pro she'll pack out the O2 not a bother.

Dont think Laila Ali was an undercard fighter, she was the unbeaten champion.
