50/50 blame for this one. Allegedly signing groves was bound to **** off defail whereas defail has turned atleast 1 fight we know about and possibly one other. (Stieglitz and Stevensson)

The difference between them is David is entertaining and let's face it a very smart business man, in the groves build up degale showed how dumb he is and definitely isn't entertaining

In the past he was the biggest promoter in the UK, but isn't now. That label goes to Hearn at the moment.

Degale's obsession and hatred of Groves has ruined his career.
No-one likes him due to his chip on the shoulder attitude and the **** he talks all the time.
Unfortunately for Degale he is not big news, no one gives a ****.

The future of british boxing are the likes of Billy-Joe, GG and David Price.

Olympics hype, same as Audrey. Degale doesn't have a pro style even this far into his short career. Personally i think this is a dumb move on his part. Frank gave him a nice signing on fee and his done well for himself so far. But iv never once thought Degale has the ability to go far in this sport with a style like that. Its horrible to watch and just would not be effective against the best guys in and around his weight.

Chris Eubank was bang on the money about DeGale.

As for DeGale going stateside, sounds good in theory but in practice I'm not so sure. He'll be matched tough out there & he won't have people blowing smoke up his arse either.

If he does it full on then it will be good for him. If he does it half arsed he's getting ****ed

I think people let their opinion about the man effect their judgement about him as a fighter.

He's talented but like all the last Olympic fighters they've not been well managed.
Hes was given lots of money but not the development.

I think he'll still end up fighting for a fair few world titles.

he should move to hearns stable..match him with durable fighters from now on...since the groves defeat his career has stalled and groves is moving light years ahead after that devestating performance in the USA.

Can someone explain why DeGale's poor, awkward style would somehow benefit from going to America? The issues with DeGale would be there regardless of the country he fights in.

Glad he's split from wank frank, he's ok for domestic level promotion, better sooner rather than later
