Apparently this could be in the cards. I bet Escobedo started eating cemitas everyday after the loss.

I'd love to see this fight on fair terms with both men making the weight.

Escobedo has the boxing skills and ring generalship to fluster Broner.

Escobedo would most likely get beaten even more than the first time.

    Why not immediately at 135?

To me, it seems, he have even a much lesser chance at 140.

Actually, his only chance is a "drained" Broner at 130.

Escobedo has admitted(with almost a decade of pro boxing to confirm) that he just can't compete with the big boys at 135, or higher. I expect, before too long, Escobedo will be forgotten about, and never to be heard from again. Maybe after his next HBO fight that was probably promised in the negotiations.

Escobedo can't compete with broner. Weight is not an issue. They are just in two different skill classes.

Broner's advantages are only heightened at 140. No need to see this. I really like Escobedo and would like to see him in competitive fights, not getting blown out.

What's the point of the rematch? Broner will demolish him even quicker! Escobedo should think about spending the rest of his boxing career as chief sparring partner for Bradley.

Escobedo went to 130 cause he couldn't hang at 135, why would he fight Broner at 140? Broner would murder him even worse.

Lol, this is the least likely rematch ever. If it happens Broner will be a laughing stock.

the only fights at 135-140 for Broner are Lucas, Maidana Peterson, Khan and Gamboa if he goes to 135, you could throw Prescott there too
