Whatever happened to the all the praises for Freddy and his "amazing" work on Khan?, Roach gives advice, he doesn't fight for Khan. I believe Roach made it clear over and over that he doesn't want Khan to open up to impress twitter fans, Khan is the one that never listened.

So Toney who was trained by Freddie Roach when he made a career resurgence didnt have basic boxing tech,didnt have defense or inside fighting?Or Virgil Hill who was one of most skilled LHW of his era?And you cant deny that he has done a great job with Pac?

Sr on the other hand did a great job with his son who was also blessed with great natural talent, did a nice job with Oscar and thats about it, nobody wants to stay with him for more than a couple of fights cause he thinks hes bigger than the fighters and wants the spotlight all to himself instead of letting the fighters shine, not to mention that he doesnt give a **** about the fighters, a perfect example of that was Hatton when Ricky was splattered on the canvas looking dead after Pac knocked him out the scumbag Sr didnt even bother to check and see if was ok he was out of there in a heartbeat, had Hatton somehow manage to win that fight you can bet your ass that Sr would be there drinking his kool aid and taking all the credit for the win.

 

It might really be the same thing as Hatton. Snr knows a lot but his style isn't for fighters like Hatton or Khan.

 

Freddie Roach only trained Toney for a few fights when he was heavyweight and doesn't teach him any new.
