    i find this a major breakthrough. imagine the worlds best fighting over 4 rounds. man hagler hearns all through the tourney!!

    am rules, yes headgear. i recon its the best thing to happen to boxing ever. every 4 years suddenly boxing becomes one of THE sports. **** the swimming. the boxing will be huge! big names. short bouts guaranteed slugfests by the worlds best!!

    No NO no this is terrible bull****. I hate this move. It will completely **** amateur boxing and the Olympics as a proving ground for future stars to make a name for themselves. Is it just me or does it seem like amateur boxing is run even worse then professional boxing somethings?

    you havent even thought it through.

    think of the profile it gets. think of the matchups with no managers involved. think of 1 world title every 4 years.....olympics vs abc boys. i'll back the olympics!:good

    This is a very bold move. I'm not sure how it'll work, so I'll wait until then before I pass judgment, but it's interesting that big changes are being made freely.

    The removal of headguards, changing the scoring system and the allowance of pro-boxers to compete are three huge moves.
