If 'fights' with light middleweight/middleweight contenders dont eventuate(spinks,k9 etc)...Is a fight with Hector Camacho Jr or a Ronald Hearns type fighter a good fight?

I was thinking about this fight the other day, he would probably win easily as Camacho is coming off a loss. But what he needs to do is fight a decent fighter on an undercard of a bigger fight so it will get approved by a decent American network.

As I said..If nothing eventuates to get a spot on a card or get a fight with a contender/champion..this isnt a bad option..well known name, has been in there with some good opponents, very winnable & an early stoppage win makes a statement.

Would a fight against Camacho Jr or Ronnie Hearns be good ?

    Of course not.

    Why you ask ?

Because they are **** that's why.

All Mundine would be gaining by fighting either Jr's Camacho or Hearns would be adding an easy win over a famous sounding name on his record , Chocs fight v Bronco was meant to be a fresh start and a chance for him to possibly fight a decent level of opponent in the states ie finally move his career forward but in fighting either of these he would be right back where he started , Mundine needs to fight Spinks as ASAP as the clock is ticking .

Sorry mate , my bad as I didn't read your original post correctly , yes if nowt eventuates then **** , why not ? I'm sure fighting either would garner Young Ash a decent ppv profit .

I suspect a problem Mundine has with US fights is not giving up the Oz PPV. If he fights on an undercard of a bigger US show he/Boxa would want Oz PPV, but the promoter would say otherwise.

Yes Mundine could 'invest' to gain a name in US or sorts. But I guess thats not how they work.
