I don't Love or Loathe him, however I do recognize his potential and talent. Personaly, I don't need gimicks or "characters" in the sport of boxing, all I need is talent and fighters willing to take on the best in their respective division.

I understand there are a lot of casual and uneducated fans out there who do need "characters" to get them and keep them interested in fights. So, for them fighters that are considered "Characters" that are either loved or loathed are needed.

 

Yes some fighters have personalities, and some fighters have "acts" and "gimicks" and are not the same person if you were to talk to them out in the streets.

 

It's really weird because in the boxing world, everyone is talking about him, yet guys like Canelo and JCC Jr. don't get talked about as much and they sell out stadiums and arenas, while Broner is only doing 3.5k in his own city.

 

dudes hilarious, he's just clowning around having fun, mayweather has never been a fun loving/ joker type like Broner and doesn't posess half of broners wit or gift of gab.

as for his fights how can you not like watching the dude? he knocks people the **** out and has power in boh hands along with a fan friendly style.


other than a couple mayweather catch phrases he's used and the shoulder role (which has been around a lot longer than Mayweather) the similarities between Broner and Mayweather are few and far between.

 

Completely agree. 100%. He is a douchebag of the Naseem Hamed, Paulie Malinaggi mold who has zero attraction to anyone with a nominal iq.


But he's a decent fighter.
