This is ridiculous, josesito is keeping his walk around weight just to prove he belongs with canelo who is cutting his weight properly with extensive training.
This fight will go down in history as the infamousest fight ever.
Dlh was right, history will be made.

Just keep in mind that the guy who got beat by josesito who was suppose to fight canelo wasn't either a jr MW ,it was picked for "commercials" reasons. He was coming from an embarrassing performance at welter.

far from it this will be an action packed fight thats what the fans want to see. Both of these guys have skills as well. I underestimated Lopez once I will not do it again.

    I don't quite get it.

Ortiz was widely viewed as a great test for Canelo... even a toss-up kind of fight.

But now Lopez is widely viewed as a total joke opponent... a disgrace, way too small etc.

Does everybody forget that he just kicked Vicious Vic"s ass? (Don't that count for anything?)

Sure he's moving up 2 divisions... but he's actually pretty close to Canelo in size (height, reach, frame etc.)... and a real tough mo-fo to boot.

Don't write the kid off so quick... He's probably better than most, if not all of Saul's past opponents!

Who on earth viewed Ortiz "as a great test for Canelo"?

Everybody I know said it was reprehensible. A blown up 140 pounder was never considered "a great test for Canelo".

    Josesito still winning.

Can't argue about Ortiz. But the fact still remains that Lopez looks in great shape alreday and weighs 166,6 so in my opinion it's a legit opponent for a 22 year old.
