    i find it quite amusing that american boxing is on the decline :rofl when i grew up all my heros were american fighters and no one could deny they were the best , but now is a different story , apart from ward i dont really like any of them, i dont respect overhyped bums with padded records that wont leave there state , and its just a matter of time before europe and mexico cleans up house the americans only have 36 year old floyd the spoiler andre ward (i still respect him tho ) and adrien broner, and that c***s getting knocked clean out when he goes up to welter, and after there display in the olympics its not going to get better any time soon :tong . and before you try to knock british boxing remember our countrys population is only a little bit more than the state of california i think we are punching well above our weight :smoke

    I´m not American, but this thread is ridicilous. P4P- greats like Floyd, Bradley, Ward, Dawson, etc.and solid fighters like B-Hop, Alexander, Berto, Cloud, Broner, etc. and prospects like Gary Russell Jr., Wilder, Quillin, Magdaleno, etc. are jokes? :patsch

    IMO threads like this are childish. Everyday there are threads where people talk about " British glass", "Eastern European stiff robots", " juiced glass hearted Americans", etc. Why can´t we just talk about the great sport boxing?

    You´re right about that, but that´s just the minority. IMO not the Americans are getting worse, it´s just the others are getting better now and that´s why it´s more competive.
