No one needs to be running anywhere. Wilder is a good fighter with a lot of potential and upside. You can't hold it against him that he hasn't taken a significant step up in opposition yet. Any true boxing fan knows that Fury is the more accomplished, and higher quality fighter. That doesn't mean Wilder can't score an upset, he's a big man with good power. I've seen about 10 Wilder fights, (his last 4 included) and the biggest thing he needs to improve on is just settling down and keeping a more steady stance with both his legs and upper body. If he can fine tune his movements in the ring and be more disciplined with his jab then who knows how far he can go in the HW division. His chin is another thing we don't know much about because it hasn't been tested. If these 2 guys fought tomorrow I would definitely put money on Fury because he is a very big, and skilled HW who has proven more then Wilder by fighting tougher opponents. But don't make Wilder out to be a bum because he hasn't fought a true contender yet, 24-0 with 24 KO's is still impressive none the less. This is the pro's, every fighter has a punchers chance especially in the HW division. The word "Bum" gets thrown around way too easily in this sport. These fighters of a lesser skill set who have the guts to get in the ring with monsters like Fury and Wilder deserve more respect.

Yes you can! He's 27 years old, 4 years into his pro career and he still hasn't fought a live body!

I'm not saying he shouldn't have stepped up by now, I'm saying you can't blame Wilder himself for what his managment team decides. I doubt very much Wilder would turn down a fight with a top 10-15 ranked contender if he was in charge of the decision making. He fights who they put in front of him and he's blown everyone away. I agree with you he needs to step up NOW and probably should have a year ago. I would personally like to see him against Chris Arreola or a Sam Peter type fighter.

Well here we go again with the Brit's setting themselves up for obscene abuse. Wilder doesn't have 'fans" per se, and to my knowledge no one is "hyping him up", but to act as if he couldn't beat Fury is mind boggling, and in the event he does win, just furthers the ignorant Brit stereotype. Wilder is far faster, probably more powerful, and has as good a chance to KO Fury as Fury does to KO him.

Price is a step above the rest. For the life of me I don't understand why he don't fight Wlad now. He has the power to ko Wlad with ease.

Amazing how this guy is critized, scruntinized and ridiculed without even given the opportunity to fight a top contender. Let's leave the criticism for after he fights a live body for now please stop sounding like grown men turned *****.

I don't get all the hate for Wilder mostly from Brits (not all) people been saying he needs to step up, Win or lose he still did a good thing by giving the fans more what they want to get a fight like this to go, still time will tell if it happens but the hate in from Mitchell and the rest is just pitifull.
