I feel sorry for Martinez he's clearly after "the" career defining fight, he's running/run out of time. Chavez won't be career defining enough, only Mayweather could provide that and he's far to astute to risk fighting Martinez.

Martinez is expected to beat Chavez and beat him convincingly, I fear critics won't give Martinez the credit he deserves for beating Chavez because he's considered a protected fighter. Beating him convingly or worse in a close fight he's not going to get any credit, Chavez should be thanking him for this opportunity.

Martinez will not be considered one of the greats for beating Chavez, he needs a Mayweather for that.
