OKAY, who did or didn't JMM get robbed against?

    Like Kellerman said, Marquez seems to be the greatest of featherweights in his opinion of mini fab 4 (Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao, and Marquez) of the last generation. The media agrees Marquez was robbed vs Norwood, John, and most importantly Pacquiao. Let's see what the fans think.

    Pacquiao thrice.

    Arguably Norwood.

    Not John (close fight that happened to go the way of the champ @ home)

    Likar Ramos did not take a dive, he got KTFO and it counts as a valid W.

    So, adjusted record, 58-3-0 instead of 54-6-1. Legitimate defeats to Duran, John and Mayweather.

    Most of these fights i only saw them once.

    So going by memory.

    I had him losing to Norwood.

    Beating John.

    Losing to Pac in the first fight.

    Beating Pac in the second and third fights.

    All close fights that could have gone either way.

    No robberies IMO.

    :think Given that it was in the Dragon's homeland and he was the champ I get ya, IB, but I think in neutral ground John got outlanded and beat by a hair. He's almost like an Asian version of Marquez without the pop. I don't think John deserved the decision, but I do admit of the 3 he did come closest. There were times Norwood and Pacquiao looked lost, not John.

    Only the 2nd and 3rd Pac fights were robberies, too many knockdowns in the 1st (I still had him winning by 1 point), Norwood and John were either way fights.

    So you've got him only ever losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Javier Duran, opposite ends of the spectrum (p4p best of his generation with size advantage to boot, and a ****ing tomato can who got a lucky DQ against a newbie future great) :yep

    It's okay to say he got robbed in the 1st even with all the knockdowns if you feel that (having given it to Marquez by a point) you gave Pacquiao all the additional rounds following the first that you could possibly give him.

    Which is pretty much the case for me.

    Take away the fire drill early (stop, drop, and roll!!) and John enjoyed far more success against Marquez than Pacquiao the 1st time.

    He was robbed against Manny in 1st and 3rd for sure ! But was granted a gift against MAB !

    I think Marquez got robbed in the third Pacquiao fight. All the other fights could have gone either way
