The problem with 24/7 is that the focus way too dam much on the fighters personal lives ..I really think this is why these shows suck !!


They need a 360 approach ..I mean back in the day fighters would go off to training camp and not have any communication with their loved ones ,it made them hungrier more aggresive !

 

it's refreshing that it does not include mayweather or pacquiao, made a nice change i thought

It was good to see 2 guys being nice and professional ,I think its going to be a good fight.

 

wonder how it feels as a man if your wife was a fighter she'd fight at cruiserwieght and your fighting smw or lhw?

 

Casual fans who want to see the training footage and what not are already sold on the fight. Showing fighters and their families and relationships can draw in non-casuals to order the fight because they can relate to that aspect of the fighters and the story line. Thats what i think.

 

The problem is its too much focus on the personal lives not so much on the build up or training for the fight ..I think thats why I couldn't stand 24/7 anymore and liked 360 better .Sure you touched on thepersonal lives but these are prize fighters not TV stars ..

 

Full credit to both guys for taking this fight. They didn't have to take the risk. I think a fully motivated Dawson has a shot but when have we seen a fully motivated Dawson?
