I`ve always fancied Hearns on points over McCallum.

I`ve never really thought about a Toney-McClellan fight until now (& tbh I haven`t had time to view the sparring yet, I`ve only watched the Hearns one) but I`d always pick Toney over McClellan, style & skillwise.

    :good

That`s the way I see it as well.

I take nothing away from the G-man, he was a great fighter but Toney would thrive on his style I think.

I think Hearns could have an easy time vs McCallum if he used his jab & movement & boxed from the outside, I don`t see anyone outpointing Hearns from 154 downwards when he`s in that boxing mode, McCallum is not a one punch KO artist & I don`t see him landing often enough without taking the more damaging punches on the way in to wear Hearns out.

Toney slips punches so effortlessly. A true fighting natural. Really good clean work.

G-Man hit too hard for even Toney back then. A routine early KO.

Hearns and McCallum were having a light exhibition it looked like while Toney and the G-Man looked to be really going at it.

And **** me McCellan was huge.

Yeah Toney has really shown himself through 80 pro fights and 600 rounds as a guy who gets knocked out early, lol.

lol at people thinking toney was doing better. He was getting hit by right hands all the time. G-man was also effective on the outside. Toney has better inside game but other than that he looked pretty bad. He's lucky he had headgear cause the cleaner shots were definately landed by g-man.

Right hands to the shoulder aren't scoring punches. Get your glasses checked pal. And headgear makes no difference apart from preventing cuts. If what you're saying is accurate then Toney would have the greatest chin ever and/or McClellans power was overrated.

I guess i never realized landing punches to the side of the head counts as your shoulder. If you think headgear doesn't make a difference besides preventing cuts... then it's pointless talking to you. Also on your last statement, toney does have one of the greatest chins of all time, so what i'm saying is accurate.
