anderson could make that fight tomorrow if he wanted to but he has said no to what would be a million dollar megafight and chance to unify at every turn. not to mention the countless videos of him heaping praise on jones.

Anderson doesn't have anything to prove to you, or anybody for that matter.

And he's a different weight class to Jones (I know he's campaigned at LHW before) but if Jones was prepared to drop to Middleweight (if he actually physically could, which i doubt) who would say Anderson wouldn't take the fight?

It's not on Anderson to move up a weight class to fight, just like it's not on GSP to move up a weight class to fight Anderson neither.

 

I think where Jones is at in terms of his age and what he has achieved so far he is on course to be the GOAT. No one knows exactly how things will pan out but he's on the right track that's for sure.

im not even saying he should fight jones.. im just saying hes not very enthusiastic about the idea of mixing it up with him because he knows what a tough night at the office that would be.
