ive seen bellew in all the matchroom pics in the last week or so and on sky sports at the matchroom open day thing!! is he defo now with eddie hearn full time now or are the reports of a one fight promotional deal more close to the mark??
Plus he and Eddie Hearn seem to get on very well, Eddie is a great promotor who wants to deliver the big fights and the best shows so with a heart and guts fighter like Bellew who packs out the Echo Arena they are both right up each other's street lol.
i agree with you there they are both right up each others alley and if eddie hearn can get a good couple of cards together he'll certainly pack out the arena with ease!! :bbb
Eddie might be a great promoter but I hear he does not pay very well so its probably a case of 'Do i go for the money' or 'Do i get myself on sky' I think with Tony its probably the sky dates and knowing Eddie will get him the fights he wants like he has done for Froch.
I dont think the money bothers fighters like froch and bellew i think its all about the fights and the recognition and the titles so i believe that bellew like froch will get the fights he wants with eddie hearn.
Eddie Hearn has been dressing Bellew in Steve Davis' old waistcoats. A tight squeeze by the way. Make of this what you will.
I'm pretty sure Bellew has stated publicly several times that he's in boxing to provide a better live for his kids. He's not going to be doing that if he's getting paid peanuts is he?
At the media day he was wearing a matchroom top & was sitting at the front near froch so i assume he is.
