Is Vitali Klitschko one of the most intimidating guys in boxing?

Psychological weakness (or mental instability of any sort) can still be intimidating even in an ordinary man, because you have no idea what they're going to do. Couple that to a ball of muscle with a caveman's brow and a punch that could knock your head into the back rows and it's time to bring out the brown trousers and extra thick pants. Of course, fighters who were able to overcome that intimidation factor like Holyfield forced Tyson to crumble, but for the average fighter, not to mention the average onlooker, he was a fearsomely scary individual.

I agree with your last comment though. Someone like Lennox Lewis doesn't look intimidating to the average man, but I reckon he was massively intimidating to those who fought him. That's a different kind of intimidation, born of the foreknowledge that nothing you can do is likely to affect him inside or outside the ring. Louis, Foreman, and Vitali also had/have that.

He's not intimidating in the slightest.
Actually i would go as far as to say he's one of the least intimidating boxers going currently.
Don't get me wrong he'd knock your block off, but an intimidating boxer is someone who when you face them you think "holy f*ck" - Tyson as an example.
Vitali is more the buisnessman boxer. I don't think i would even be intimidated by him in a staredown (he'd kill me in the ring once we started, but i wouldn't be petrified like i would if it was Tyson that i was staring at).

 

guys don't get it. if a guy can controll his aggression in the ring it's the worst possible scenario. look at the klitschko's fights. they break you down without taking risks. you know when you fight them that you will get brain damage. they have no interest to just ko you, but to beat you systematicaly down. thats imo intimidating + vitali is a ****ing sadist. imo you can see that he really enjoys to **** someone up

vitali is first of all not my favourite boxer and second he is a saddistic mother****er. he likes to hurt people. everyone who has knowledge about boxing can see it

 

Tyson wasn't intimidating at all to real fighters. He was a midget that couldn't speak. Vitali is intimidating to all fighters.
