how the hell do boxers get custom made boxing shoes?

    i've noticed this happens quite often..latest examples would be Cotto against Mosley and Trinidad and Jones.

    how do they go about doing this?:huh

    the shoe company sends someone to take their exact foot measurements and then they make them a shoe

    do you know if the boxer designs the shoe how they want it first?

    I am wondering if the boxer contacts the company with their shoe design asking them to make it, or if the company approaches them with an offer

    its called sponsership.... boxers are sponsered by certain companys... like drinks... shoes.. beer ... an shoe companys make special shoes that match there trunks... while the boxer gives there company exposure over tv
