What do you guys think about this fight if it happens? If this has already been posted sorry, I've been away almost 2 months. Personally I think this is a terrible comeback fight for Amir, and a fight I really don't believe he should be the favorite in. If Guzman comes prepared, I think he stops Khan, or at the very least, gives him a severe boxing lesson.

    Your thoughts?

HBO would be foolish to buy this fight. Guzman has failed to make weight on a couple of occasions on their broadcast. They should save their money and pass on it. BTW, I think Guzman would KO Khan.

Guzman should be ok making weight - it would be discussed heavily beforehand anyway

I think for the Khan payday and contemplation of what it could mean for him would drive him to make weight

    Why? :huh

Regardless of whether you dislike his persona you have to admit he takes parts in the fights people want to see.

As do I, HBO might not buy it, but I pretty sure Showtime would. And call me crazy, but Amir Khan is still a pretty big name, I think Joan would get up for that fight and come in fit. You gotta think that would be the biggest fight of his career.

Khan is mad if he takes him on.

Come back to the UK, take a couple confidence fights and then consider it. It would be a naive move.

Yes I have, anything very interesting?

No I didn't hear that, is there bad blood now?

Big if. Motivation issues or not, Joan Guzman is no joke in the ring.

    The best part.

There is that many these days you can bet they will throw in some sort of interim or regular title to get some $$$

There is no way, if you are a rational human being, that you believe Khan will stop Guzman. Dispite Joan's lack of discipline, he is a boxing master, he'd be lucky if he could pull out a win.

 Well Boxrec said the story came from Long established Dominican newspaper El Caribe, so if you read that paper, I guess you would know if the article is the real deal or bull****.
