Never said it was the first day. It was during their last week. After it happened, they never sparred again. I wouldnt make it up. It is also being talked about here:

Even if this is true, it doesn't mean Dawson stands no chance against Ward. I believe fighters like Pacquiao and Roy Jones Jr have been KO'd during sparring and they have enjoyed lengthy careers.

Thanks for a little backup here. People always want proof. They want a link. Dawson and his camp want it quiet and won't admit it. They were paying Miranda and asked him to be quiet. However there were other people in the gym who saw it. I can tell you with 100% confidence that it happened.
