Don't put words into my mouth. Macca was on his way to getting knocked out anyway. However, rules state that if the ropes are the only thing holding you up, it's supposed to ruled a knock down.

You did claim it was the biggest problem, whereas in reality it was Haye's punching that was the only problem.

Haye's power was not a problem. You're supposed to hit people in boxing. However, a ref isn't supposed to let a defenseless guy being held up by the ropes get tee'd off on like that. Once again, Macca would've got knocked out anyway, but the ref errored in that situation.

I disagree, he'll be far too fast for Peter, but I don't see him fighting a fighter at his level until late next year.

I seriously think at HW there's no ceiling for what Haye can do.

he said some very ture facts "never play with matches" it's very useful in life... and the ref has never had a fire in the house again i imagine

Yeah, how dare we get excited about boxing. We should just sit on our hands and grumble I guess.

LOL. Fair play, good comeback. I think and hope that Haye will tear through the HW division but to claim it will happen is putting Haye in a no win situation. We do seem to build people up and then take great pleasure in knocking them down. Let's just see how Haye gets on in his first few HW fights and then again once he's fought some decent opposition at that weight. If he gets some decent wins under his belt, let us then reach for the stars but I this bigging-up happening so damn soon.
