Thing is, you can't pick holes in it. Unless you want to lose your mind.

What I will say is I question the OP's analytical ability.

Jack Johnson is one of the best fighters you've ever seen? Even taking into account his mastery of the ruleset of his era, he looks hideous on film.

Is it 'greatest fighters that I've seen on film' or 'best operators I have seen'?

Watch some John Conteh, Jung Koo Chang or Paul Pender fights and free your mind.

    I'm not, it's abysmal.

I do respect that 'The Phenom' has been dedicated enough to take the time out and put thought into it, I really do. But with some of the fighters included and with no criteria really laid out to assist those trying to appreciate the list, I can only come to very negative conclusions about it and wonder whether you have seen more than 100 fighters.

I'm a massive Paul Williams fan, don't get me wrong....

the list started at over 185 when i was doing it out roughly. They are the best I have seen.I don't include fighters I have seen only losing fights like graziano, conteh, tapia etc.I said at the start that I have a thousand boxing dvds doesn't that give you a fair indication that i have seen many more than 100 fighters, hell Zab Judah is a four time world champion he didn't make it.It includes fighters who are available on dvd some of the ones i have still to get are pep, saddler, napoles, saldivar, canzoneri and others.

So is this in order of pound for pound? Is it in any order, or just the 100 best fighters he has witnessed in no particular order?

If it's the best fighters he's seen in no particular order, that's his opinion and that's his deal.

It looks like there's some order to it, because the usual suspects are in the first 5-6 and then things start going all over the place.

I don't have the energy, patience, or conviction to put 100 fighters in any type of order, so more power to him.

I take my hat off to you for the patience and craft necessary to assemble 100 of anything together for a list. I surea hell dn't have the patience or desire to attempt it..as a matter of fact, I'd rather eat spaghetti from a colostomy bag than to try it.

He wouldn't make it anyway, because he's shite.

Trust me, you have a lot of fighters to watch. As we all do.
