Reckons he'll take 3 1/2 years to become Heavyweight champion. Can't see to many wanting a piece of him...
nah im sure someone will take the bait pretty quickly to try to expose him.. but i think he stated pretty accurately on his post interview that it will take him bout two and a half years.. seems bout right to me..
For big money of course they will fight him, also some will want to put him in his place, imagine valuev against him, that would be ****ing epic, with the big man pushing him and trying to bully haye, then imagine if he explodes a bomb on his chin:nut ,maybe the first time he goes down.
He is a good cruiser. He beat an overhyped UK fighter. He may or may not have an impact in the heavy division. Time will tell. Wlad would take his head off though.
There's no doubt in my mind that Haye would beat Wlad. Rofl did you even see Wlad against Ibragimov ? Terrible. Haye would force him to fight...which lets be honest, Wlad aint exactly keen on doing these days, and crush him.
Well Haye easily pummelled Bonin who was a ton 10 ranked fighter....I think it will be interesting to see if his speed and skill would be enough to upset Klit. I think it will. IMO :good
I like Haye, but he's got to improve his defense before moving up. Alot of Heavyweights already felt his power, but he hasnt felt there's, there's a good chance he might turn into the next Audley or better yet, Razor Ruddick.
Haye needs a VERY STRONG promoter on this side to put the money on the table as these guys won't fight a KO machine for a few cents.
yeah i think haye will need to beat someone like a recent former heavyweight champ like sultan for example, or maybe a tough young guy like povetkin. if he beats those type of fighters in this year, then yes he will definately be able to challenge wladimir who is definately the man of the division. i dont think he beats wladimir, but i definately think he is a worthy no1. contender. but again, he has to BEAT someone high up and geniune before he can demand no1. mandatory status etc. that polish dude bonin might be very good, but he also could have been utter hype. afterall i've never heard of bonin doing anything big on the scene to warrant his ranking (which everyone knows is 99% politics). if haye beats guys like povetkin/sultan and anyother recent former champ or up and comer with conviction then i for one will be excited about a haye / wladimir matchup in late 2009!
Lets forget about the power for a second, which is up there with Sam Peter and Vlad Kiltschko no doubt, and lets talk about the speed. What heavyweight out there has the handspeed to compete with Haye? Enzo supposedly had fast hands, but my god he looked slow and **** in the ring with Haye! Haye keeps his left-hand low, but I dont see any Heavyweight faster than Enzo Mac or Jean-Marc Mormeck, and they wont be able to get past his reflexes. Haye would tee-off on a slow, fat slugger like Sam Peter. He'd crush Ruslan Chagaev, or Sultan Ibragimov, who are two of the quicker champions of recent years. Oleg Maskaev? Dont make me laugh. Hasim Rahman? He was hardly fast in his prime, and he's not exactly hard to KO. Even Povetkin is a lumbering slugger compared to Haye. Eddie Chambers might be in his league, Odliander Solis too, but who else is out there who is that fast? Seriously, the only guys who stand a chance at Heavyweight are Valuev, out of sheer freakishness, and Wlad, who has a punchers chance. Wlad would struggle massively with Haye, just like he does with anyone with power and handspeed ie Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster.
Harrison done bonin to,he was a **** fighter, hardly threw a punch and is a walking punch bag,but he is still a heavyweight i guess,he should fight danny williams
Dont agree with some of that, but yes your right his speed and power is gonna be a great leveller against most heavys, onlyv real thing we dont know,is can he take one of there punches, and dont say he will not get hit,if he goes up in weight he will not be as fast, some good times ahead though for sure
