If it's just a favorites list we are talking about it'll always be subjective.

I listed Duran 4th of the "Fab 4" because I just don't like him as much as the other 3. I think he's a hell of a fighter, and some of the most amazing things I've ever seen in a ring is what he did in his 30's against full fledged Middleweights. But of the "Fab 4" he'd be my #4 in terms of cheering interest.

Some people hate Leonard, so he'll be rated #45325 on their personal lists. LOL Like I fully acknowledge that Mike Tyson from 1985-1989 was one of the best fighters of all time, but I don't care for him personally so he'd be about #500 on my list of favorites.

Sanchez? Obviously a magnificent fighter. Too bad we never got to see him in some of the fights he could have had with Arguello, Chavez, Pedroza, etc. His fight with Gomez is so underrated by a lot of the younger fans today.

Thats why its hard to rank Leonard and Duran in these threads..It was a love hate relationship with both fighters..

It used to be Duran but the more i've gone back and watched Hagler, you've just gotta respect him.
A true champion and one that boxing could do with today. All great fighters who were in great fights.
