Autin Trout Says he plans on winning impressively against Cotto!

Cotto busts up easy and I think he got more pop than Money.

 

When Foreman fought Santos he was a heavily faded bum boxing part time and **** hasn't fought since. Prime Santos KO's Foreman.

That being said, Cotto looked like **** against Foreman, and the same tentativeness I saw in that fight I expect to see when he fights Trout. Trout is going to keep him at bay with that jab and make Cotto try to "brawl" on the inside to get his points. Sadly for Cotto that is goign to lead to him walking into a great deal of shots and getting stunned and put down and his face cut up.

 

Trouts got some pop he just dosent commit as much as a power puncher would. He's a natural counter puncher who quite the economist when it comes to offense unless he's forced to be more active due to the activity of body in front of him. He's intellegent, slick and black....lol. I'm sorta 50/50 with this fight. I'd love to see how he handles the pressure once Cotto starts to cut off the ring, he's not active enough to stop this from happening so his reaction is key.

See Foreman is well schooled and he does have speed he was catching cotto with a number of rights but cotto was willing to sacrafice because he understood the risk would pay dividends towards the end of the fight....risk vs. reward. Santos was past his best no doubt about it....his conditioning sucked balls but like he showed in his bout vs Acline he still has that equalizer and for those who have fought that's the last thing you lose....no one sent the memo to Foreman the night and I find it intresting that he chose not to, at least once, have 5 seconds of a violent exchange with Cotto.

Oh and I still think Cloud would eventually KO Pascal.

 

Cotto is ALWAYS underestimated! Hell, all his fights @ 54 he has been the underdog even against Mayorga. Everyone was saying that he was to KO Miguel!

I like your comments. Fair and justified. I agree on Trout's conditioning. Vs. Rod at the end of the fight he looked like he just finished the 1st round (but, the pase of the fight was so s l o w. . . . .).

No chance. Cotto was favourite in every one of his fights at 154 except vs Floyd.
