Is Dariusz Michalczewski Hall Of Fame worthy?

    Yes. He was very solid at his peak and has sustained success. He would've been the top LHW today.

    i didnt say it was fair that fighters get legitimized by being known in the US, but thats the way it is for obvious reasons

    in a sport which already allows fighters to sell bogus titles to unknowledgeable casual fans so they can milk it with added 'safety' in their own country, rather than take on true champions on a bigger stage, giving them a pass into the HOF doesnt work for me

    **** DM and RJJ for not making what would have been a great showdown at 175. Pac and Floyd are about to repeat their mistake.

    Based on merit and accomplishment, I say he gets in.

    I think so. He won titles in 2 different weight classes, and he co-existed with RJJ as fellow champion at 175 for a number of years, and actually had a better claim to the legitimate championship than Jones did.

    I think if he fought Jones - win or lose - he would be held in a higher light, however. Even if Jones dominated as many (not me) suspect.

    The ultimate irony will be if Sven Ottke makes it into the HOF and Michaelczewski won't.

    Yes IMO. Overlooked for most of his career. Calling Jones "Champion" when every belt was rightfully his was a disgrace.

    Love the hardcore patriots that believe boxing only exists in the USA.
    Dariusz deserving to be in is such a no brainer its funny that its even discussed.

    WAY lesser fighters have gotten in on way less merit.
